Yes, my name is Buzzy! My parents named me something else legally and then decided not to call me by that name for reasons unbeknownst to us all. I’ve never taken the time to legally change it, mostly because I enjoy the pseudo anonymity that comes with having two of me.
My mom, Jennifer (link) and I originally created this blog together, but she ended up starting a travel agency called Every Sunny Day Vacations in 2018 and has been doing amazing things for people and visiting amazing places! I now run this blog.
Throughout life, my “when I grow up list” always included four things: become a wife, mother, teacher, and President of the United States. I’ve already completed 75% of my major life goals and I still have 7 years before I’m old enough to run for the White House… I’ll start fundraising for my campaign one of these days.
I have climbed many mountains, travelled to a handful of countries, and I went skiing once, but it will always be true that the greatest adventure of my life is being a wife and mother! I am so proud to be married to Cade. He’s a police officer who loves the community he serves and strives to help people better themselves. Throwback picture to January 2011, two months before our wedding. Fun fact.. we were only engaged for four months! Crazy, right?!
It is no exaggeration to say that I am forever thankful for Cade who is both an extraordinary husband and sensational father. We have two wild boys and in 2019 welcomed our daughter, Baby A! The kids bring an unfathomable amount of joy and energy to our life. I love every mess, every sloppy kiss, and every adventure we have with our children; they won’t be little forever and I intentionally seek to cherish every moment of the time we have been given to raise our family.
G is our oldest. At bedtime, he often prays the sweetest things. Other times, he says things like “Thank you, God, that I pulled Tata’s finger and he farted.”
C is our second born with stunning blue eyes and an intense love of Star Wars. People are always stopping us everywhere we go to comment on his breathtaking baby blues.
Third comes Baby A, making me not only a boy mom, but a girl mom too! The sibling bond is strong between these three, and I pray that it only grows stronger as they grow up.
I have a penchant for suggesting and executing random adventures both big and small. Sometimes it’s an unplanned stop to get ice cream and others it’s a whirlwind vacation on a whim! I love Arizona. I believe social media is really unhealthy for our culture, and I refuse to get back on Facebook because I think it is far more inflammatory than helpful. I’m dedicated to using the accounts I do have to encourage people to spend less time on their devices and do more face-to-face and outdoors. So that’s what you’ll find here on Every Sunny Day- how to have adventures big and small, highlights of our life in AZ, reasons to put down your screen devices, and encouragement to live a real life, in person, and at least sometimes outside.
